This site is the supporting website the TAGB Tae Kwon Do clubs in Taunton, Wellington and Yeovil.These are part of the Tae Kwon Do Association of Great Britain (TAGB).Tae Kwon Do is a Korean martial art which incorporates self defence and a thriving tournament sporting scene. About The Clubs

The TAGB has had a club in Taunton since 1983, Wellington around 1985, Yeovil in 1989. They are run by Alec Hay, who is a 6th Dan Black Belt Instructor with over 26 years experience. A team of qualified Assistant Instructors also help teach.

About TaeKwonDo

"Translated from Korean, 'Tae' literally means to jump, kick or smash with the foot. Kwon' means a fist - chiefly to punch or destroy with the hand or fist. 'Do' means art, way or method. Our organisation also practices the more modern development of non-contact sparring, which is part of our regular tournament participation.

Times & Places

With classes in Taunton, Wellington and Yeovil a number of times a week you may find we are often close by. With training at all levels & ages we can support everyone from the 4 year old child to the 5th Dan instructors. Training costs from as little as £25 per month with no contracts or long term sign ups.
